A Helicoils or Timeserts should set things straight. A PO had stripped several of the threaded holes for exhaust studs on my G. The head casting is quite soft. Helicoils have held them for 15years.

The manual covers how to do the work. Key point, don't mix up the king pin shims. They center the axle in the shaft. Recalculating the correct size/position of the shims is non-trivial.

Electric mirror adjuster. Turn it to the left position, it is adjusting your left mirror.

If I understand your multimeter hookup, it should show a 12v reading even with much less than a 1mA draw. Such a draw would be less than the battery's internal self drain. Nothing to worry about if it is that low. Even 10mA would be OK, unless you plan on leaving it for months without a battery tend...

Those demos need to be examined carefully. If the ”dead” 24v batteries were still in the circuit then they provide a substantial boost to starting. I've tried starting my G with a dead battery+jump and just the jump box. The dead battery helped a lot.

Review all of the major grounding and +12V connections, including the battery posts. I'll bet one of them is loose or corroded.
