Valve covers can leak and drip on the exhaust manifold. Not too hard to fix. Search m113k valve cover on youtube for plenty instruction vids

Can't help you with a used one, but if yours is a w463 then MB should still have them new. I just replaced mine with a new one which was about 75 euro new from MB

You could try to weld it. Mine cracked too about 3 years ago and have been driving with a welded one ever since without issue so far. Have put about 35,000 km on it since.

Looking around for a replacement at the time i also spotted the one in the ebay link for ridiculous money

Check with the guys gwagenregister.com, most members there are UK or Ireland based so would have a better view on what is available and which shops to avoid. Good luck!
