I ll find a Blower motor for you. It sucks it was not in the blower box. Who knew.

If indeed restored the way it looks it’s a lot of hours. So 100 would be realistic. 60 would be great. 40 would be free.

Broken threads on injector clamping bolt 642

Has anyone ever dealt with broken threads for these m6 bolts holding down the injectors..? I have a stripped thread (on the head) - thread just came out with the bolt... half of it I think. Enough was left in there to allow the bolt to screw in appear like it’s holding but a day later it was ‘ejecte...

I read somewhere that separating the motor from the cage results in an out of balance but with as many threads as I’ve been reading over the past few years I can’t recall where but I do think it pertains to the G blower...

Oh no what happened to the blower motor! Did someone swipe it? Or is it in a different place in this box? Glad you got started on it.
That evap core is available new I believe for not crazy money. Just in case.

They seem to be the early stock choice for these cabrios. The rusty one I got is equipped with the same.
