Re: help oil pump om605

will not work, options 603/602 with 605. they are just looking, the side of the neck. they are forgetting, the connection to the block! 602/603 square shape, 605/606 round shape with oring. The best option, in my opinion, and the one I have bought, sprinter, long neck and round base, with oring! th...

Re: om603 oil pump

I just took the longer tube half of the 603 pump and bolted it to The 606 pump half . Visually they both looked the same Did it work? do you have part number from the two pumps you used? If the difference between pumps is the gears height and not its diameter, then the remaining half is "inter...

om603 oil pump

Hello everyone, I need to know if the om603 turbo engine uses the same oil pump as the om603 NA engine. I have searched the web in and out, read the engine manual and there is no information about it. In the parts store they tell me they are different but they have no info about output pressure from...

help, front springs for w460

Hi all, I need to change front springs on my G and I'm looking for advice regarding stiffness, length, what to buy... It's a lwb w460 with an om 603 engine, and I'm going to fit 285/75 16 tires soon as well, so I was thinking maybe buying springs with 2" inch lift already. ( I would like a lift...

Re: valve blow off

Blow off valves on diesels are required when running big power/ big turbo setups, (really high turbo pressure).
You'll need a solenoid in order to make the BOV open when needed.

Re: G500 lift

Steering geometry gets compromised with even a 1.5” lift, best to budget for offset front radius arm bushings or dropped front radius arm brackets. 1.5” spring lift with offset bushings or similar caster solutions is as far as I’d go on a street driven G. I have been running my g500 with 315/75-16 ...

Re: Remote central locking W460

Hi, bought a kit to do my 1984 280E which has central locking already via key. Can I ask the reason for creating the bend at the end rather than a hook to the hole you can see just above? My G has been retrimmed and the previous owner must have removed the toggles that are visible on the door car j...

Re: Transfer case rubber mounts

Hi Federico, Sorry, I didn't logged on recently I got a W460 300GD from 1989, so one of the last W460 . It had the full black rubber TC bushings, and I changed them with the "new style" model (based on the part number I found in Parts Net online for my VIN). So both the old and new style ...

Re: Drag link ends from land cruiser on w460

I went to a store specialized in suspension and steering parts. I took both rod ends with me, they measured them and came with the replacements.
He told me those were from Nissan pathfinder or x-terra. I don't remember which model year and had not saved the box or part number..

Reasonable price where I'm at.

Which year G?

Mine is a '79 240GD
