Re: G500 Locker hoses and related

@AlanMcR Thank you again - powering on and cycling the rear locker multiple times (after locking the center differential) was the secret to successfully flushing out a reasonable amount of fluid from the rear. I may try the same with the front, but am assuming I need to lock both the center and rear...

Thanks for the idea! This seems likely to help my rears which lock, but don't bleed at the prescribed bleed pressure...

Re: G500 Locker hoses and related

Thank you YYC.cars and @vadimivanovich @NorwayW461 240gd - I used a Motive power bleeder hooked to the round hydraulic fluid reservoir pressurized to 2 bar (~29 psi), then loosed the bleed screw. Seemed straightforward, but happy to be corrected if there's a better process. Based on the fluid I got ...

Re: G500 Locker hoses and related

@Chris - Thanks for the heads-up; center and rear lockers are currently working, so not my issue, but appreciate the thought

@vadimivanovich Thanks so much for the info, Gives me something to work with. Any hints on where I should be looking to determine what's right for my specific VIN?

G500 Locker hoses and related

Hi, I’m having locker difficulties on a 2004 G500 and would appreciate guidance! Vehicle was generally well cared for and professionally maintained, but I don’t have any evidence of recent locker use, service or even a flush. Problems as follows: 1) Front lockers inoperable and an attempt at a flush...

Re: East Coast Body Shop Recomendation - Rust

I've had good experiances with 3D Collision, though all insurance related.

I'm interested in whomever you find as my G came with some deferred body and paintwork on the roof and mirrors.

Re: 02 G500 Brake sensor

Pricing sure seems attractive, but don't let the fact that it is within budget get in the way of a proper inspection and critical thought about whether it is truly a good value.

Re: Gauge cluster screen dim/burnt out.

I haven't done this yet, but on my list... My understanding is that it is pretty easy - $100 in parts, plus perhaps a special tool to ease dash removal ($30?). Biggest blocker to me just getting it done is wading through the many different replacement panel options and vendors - I'm struggling to di...
