Re: FS: Hella military version tail lights and bumper mounted back up and rear fog lights

Any idea if tail lights are bolt on fit to W463 (2004 G500) or do they fit older models?
I've been looking to change my rear lenses to orange...

Re: FS: Europa G320 LWB

Great looking, but got a chuckle out of the special equipment that includes a: "non-metal spare wheel cover." (in other words, hard cover not included...)

Re: G500 Locker hoses and related

So an update and a part number… Thanks to advice from Steve at Expedition Imports, I purchased part number A 463 428 0435 from my local Mercedes dealer – which is apparently most commonly listed as a rear brake hose. Replacement of the hose (and a new banjo fitting) was relatively straightforward, t...

Re: Pre purchase inspection, Columbus Ohio

Thank you for sharing the list of maintenance items and dealer costs - this is a really usefull reference for other G500 owners and prospective owners. Agree the list looks pretty typical; sorry if this one does not work out for you. Perhaps it is worth sharing the PPI with your local independent me...

Re: G500 Locker hoses and related

@AlanMcR Thank you again - powering on and cycling the rear locker multiple times (after locking the center differential) was the secret to successfully flushing out a reasonable amount of fluid from the rear. I may try the same with the front, but am assuming I need to lock both the center and rear...

Thanks for the idea! This seems likely to help my rears which lock, but don't bleed at the prescribed bleed pressure...

Re: G500 Locker hoses and related

Thank you YYC.cars and @vadimivanovich @NorwayW461 240gd - I used a Motive power bleeder hooked to the round hydraulic fluid reservoir pressurized to 2 bar (~29 psi), then loosed the bleed screw. Seemed straightforward, but happy to be corrected if there's a better process. Based on the fluid I got ...
