Airbags have a 15 year ‘shelf life’, they may or may not deploy correctly after 20, 30 or 40 years.

I bought a grey market 1984 Mercedes 500SEC coupe in New Mexico 22 years ago (my second car!), it was first imported to California, and had the Sticker in its door jam so registering it in CA again after a few decades out of state was possible.

Of course a few older Gs floating around might have already been been made CARB compliant, these should have a sticker somewhere that looks like this;

Test your window regulators by unplugging one at the motor and adding 12v to it, if it does not move you likely have 2 dead regulators/motors, if it does you might have wiring issues (rodents?).
