Re: FS: G Professional rear single seats

I checked. The seats as shown are symmetrical with respect to their mounting hook. However, the left side "floor socket" on a W463 does not seem to be in the same place. You can measure for yourself if you flip up the rear bench and measure from the side to the hook.

At least you could cut your trees. I have neighbors on both sides that "love their trees". These things are basically unlit roman candles. Pines, Eucalyptus, Live Oaks, with a few Redwoods mixed in to help slow down the flame front.

Re: West Coast Fires

There is quite a lot of nonsense in that video. Some of the biggest California fires have been in wilderness areas that have never been managed and never will be. What has changed in these areas is the climate. It doesn't take much of a temperature change to drastically change our environment. Back ...

To each their own, however my price calculation would need to deduct the cost of restoring it to it's former glory.

Re: driver side foot step support?? aftermaket?

Something like that, but spring loaded up against the body would be a good seller. Best of both worlds. Decent clearance and an accessible step.

Re: Won’t start. After removing hood.

I suspect that the main engine ground is missing or loose. Someday that will come back to bite you. It is often connected to the bell housing at the 9 o'clock position as seen from the front. It goes from there to a bolt on the frame.

Re: West Coast Fires

A few days ago I needed the house lights on (at noon) in order to be able to read. It was surreal.

Re: Won’t start. After removing hood.

I thought the starter disable was only on the pre-1996 versions. Immobilizers after that crank just fine but won't start due to a lack of fuel. Then again, most of my experience is on the diesel side.
