Nice writeup. I do want a heated shower system.
On the W463's the existing heater booster pump would probably remove the need to run the engine. A small plate heat exchanger would be more efficient, but it would be easier to clog the passages with river debris. Given that I mostly hang around in deserts, I'm still searching for the elusive "water source".
