As we all know, the Wolf for the ones who don't chose the flashy colors from Guido or Alex, is a very dark vehicle on the road.
We all have hazards never the less I feel at time safety could improve I already have the regular Triangle and the standard German army beacon type which is used along the road for broken down vehicles
Back in the days on my ship, we bought a beacon for alerting alarms on deck... for whatever reason it didn't work and it ended up with me... It was ever since stored with no use under the idea ... maybe one day....
Corona and the wife pushing for space made me clear my shed and stumble again on that light ... to good to throw away .... I wanted to fit a signal light stick as my wolf has the drilled holes on the side of windshield frame driver side - issue being that:
a. Those bracket aren't cheap
b. I struggle with head room in garage entrance
Considering this light is only in case of emergency or possibly when being around with a few, I looked at options and I made it removable - the easiest fitting is at front but having the rear antenna mount, fitting at either locations is acceptable - although fitting at front will allow better 360 degrees visibility.
I couldn't try in pitch black to see but it seems quite an improvement
Note the wire was laid outside for trial only ;)

Here’s a few raw pictures from the dunes with my wife.

Had a stare down with a wild horse.

I don’t have an air compressor so I didn’t air down but I didn’t have any problems, was a lot of fun.

Pretty cool light.

Replacing your rear bulbs with LED ones is a big safety improvement. (You don't have to do the indicator ones because of the relay issues.) Very noticeable difference with just the running lights if you're on the side of the road.

Before and after shots of the '97 G36. Came with the "swooshes", but a bit too flashy for us. Took me 6 hrs, using my now, thumb nails of steel to get the vinyl off. Then citric goof off for the adhesive. A few more hours with a 3" buffing wheel and various compounds, clay bar, and a coat of wax. The paint was in excellent condition. I basically polished the areas around swooshes to match the paint under the swooshes.
