Did you figure out the front driveshaft issue? Id like to see some video of this thing running

I still haven't worked on the front drive shaft. I am working out the bugs, on what I have done up to now. I will update when I get to the shaft.

As you appear to run without the front driveshaft, be sure to set the transfer case in 4WD (SA).
As some of the transfer case lubrication is powered by the transfer case shaft on the front output flange, lubrication is compromised when no front driveshaft is installed.

I have been running it in SA, thanks.

Well, I haven't posted an update in a while. I have about 2500 miles on the motor and transmission transplant. After two different front driveshafts, I have a combination that is 4WD !! I fabricated a couple of dropped trailing arm brackets giving me 3 degrees of caster. Now I have a SWB lifted a couple of inches, on 33's, that goes down the highway at 70 and I can pull out and pass traffic at will. All with the air conditioning on.
I took a video of the front shaft but don't know how to save it as something I can post.

I am sure this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it has been a lot of fun putting it together.
Thanks for the help I have received from the members here.

Sweeet! I can't wait to see some fresh pics. That front shaft sounds tricky but you have driving proof that it can work. GREAT to know!

Toss the video up on youtube and post it here would probably be the easiest. I'd love to see it regardless, and a "driving" video as well.

G530 burns both back tires with the diff lock engaged, with no effort at all.
