The W460 has only one TC gear ratio available. There are no parts available to change them to. Axle ratios are available all over the place. The 711.113 overdrive 5-speed with 5.33 axles would give your friend what he wants, depending on tire size of course. 6.17 would also be an option if the tires are very large.

Vadim, i understood there are no parts available to change. But, is it possible to custom made gears for the transfer case? only for 4 low?
or there is no space inside?
maybe it's cheaper than buying reduction gearbox, custom made propshafts, etc..
He's not a purist but I don't want him to cannibalize the G either.

No space inside a VG080 TC for other gear sizes. Its very cramped in there.

Maybe Chris solution with an automatic gearbox is the only one than both will give him a crawl 1 st gear and highway 60 Mph+ cruising comfort.

But no idea how to fit that to the engine he has in the G.

I have only heard of overdrive units to drop the revs on the highway. 2wd only.

The strategy would be to put in crawler axle ratios and then use the overdrive for 2wd freeway speeds.

My Wolf is pretty slow in 4lo and "granny gear" 1st, but I've never been a rock crawler kind of person so not sure if that's slow enough to meet the requirements or not.

On a LWB is possible. But not in a SWB because the rear propshaft would be too short for the angles it will reach.

Maybe you've seen these already.

Bolting a more compact overdrive unit directly to the vg80 would put to much stress on the bushings?

You previously spoke of a reducer box, presumably for an off-road crawling gear. That would be problematic as it would only affect one axle - 4x4 use would make something break. If you meant an overdrive unit, then yes, that's been done and can work. Personally, I have 35" tires and a 711.113 - perfect for freeway cruising and off-road crawling IMO.
