Greenline vs. 463.241 axle

Hi G-uys, does anybody know what´s the difference between the front axle from a G270CDI Greenline- version 730.332R, variant X006015116, pt. nr. A4633304700 and a 2000 G500- version 730.398R, variant C006015036.

The EPC is showing me that they both have the 4,375 diff, the one from the G500 being a 1,3 ton axle and the one from the Greenliner being a 1,45 ton.

Can I use the Greenliner axle on the G500 which has a blown diff?

Thx in advance

can you get it for a bargain?

I think it might fit. May have increase in unsprung weight but likely minor amount.
Otherwise you can likely pull the diff and set it up in the original housing.

May be the Greenliner comes w/ bottle front axle. The other thing to look at is the axle tube gap between the bracket and chrome ball. This should tell you if the axle has 1425mm track width or 1475mm track width by observing the space between the chrome ball and bracket. 1475mm track width axle should have a gap of a tennis ball.

I'm so close to having the answer for this. If someone has a newer service manual than I do it will probably be in there.
