Wiring loom plug from early 1980s 460

There is this black plastic plug on my wiring loom that I cannot figure out. It is not for the radio as far as I can tell, the fan switch is different, as is the hazard switch. Anyone here seen this type of connector before, I have been googling for a couple days without success. Not sure if it is OEM or some PO hack.

In all my poking around, I have never come across something like that on my 460.

Yellow/black wires show door contact switch for interior light on wiring diagram, I see.

I got these plugs in my 1982 300GD loom. The front and rear fog lights have the same pin-out, as well as some unknown switches. One wire coming out of this connecter, plugs into I think the clock below the fog light switches.

yes , it is for the fog light switch , it is original in the wiring harness for older G , it is for the rocker switch version .

Well, that's one mystery solved for me too!

Haven’t found these connector plugs in the EPC so far. Headlight and emergency flasher light switch have got a different type of plug.
If anybody knows these partnumbers and the sockets which are inserted in these plugs, let me know!

Anyone have a source for the fog light rocker switch for this three prong plug?
Interesting that I don't have a hole anywhere for it though. Figure I can add it next to ashtray as shown in pics by Guido.
