I had a w124 that made a similar sound from the transmission fluid and filter being clogged up. I checked the fluid and it looked reasonable but I think I might change it along with the pressure plate as a preventative maintenance item.
Thoughts?
That’s fantastic news! More evidence that against rebuilt gwagen driveshafts isn’t.
Chris was very confident in the backlash setting. But maybe the bad DS could damage the pinion bearing quickly enough to alter the backlash?
Do you mean changing the conductor plate?
