Consider ceramic coating instead of powdercoating. The silver color wont fade like black
color and can handle heat better. And wont flake off like powdercoating. These are used for exhaust header. I did for my new #22 header 603. Will do w/ oil pan too.
People said it may hold back the heat. May be true.

Powder coat or rattle can? I have rust paint that I'm using to spray my axles with but I'm not sure if powdercoating would be better. My only concern with powder is the added thickness ( 1/8" is what a shop told me today).

Thanks Autonovice, unfortunately I can't find any in my area.

1/8" thickness for powder coating???!!! Uh... that's insane. Properly applied, powder should be about the same thickness as paint. They can apply it heavier but my shop works on a lot of aerospace and aviation parts so they get the tolerances right. I think your primary issue is stripping the rust. Those parts need to be sand-blasted before anything else.

The cable assembly shown in that picture is made up of at least three different parts:
1) the cable,
2) the cone, which is actually part of the body
3) the pedal lever,
You will also need the actual pedal that clips into the lever and a (not pictured) floor socket.

I have the cone , is the pedal mounted on the floor like the w460 or is it attached to the lever part of the bracket?
