Eric. That is a reasonable question. Short answer, I have lived with 24V vehicles for 20 years and am aware of the challenges and expenses (i have been fortunate/lucky with expenses). The only real immediate issue with 24 vs 12V is the glow plug relay and I think we have a plan for that. I am able to transfer all other 24V components over to the 606a (alternator, compressor, starter/solenoid). The 24V alternator and starter can be rebuilt when needed and I suspect the compressor also. I will have to carry some key components as spares for those “mid-road trip” break downs. So, knowing the shortcomings of having a 24V vehicle, I will have only myself to blame when things go south. BTW, I still have my 24V trickle charger from my previous 24V vehicle - I can’t not use that!
