Here's that sliding seal against the rim

The rear of the bolt-on ring got a large o-ring in it

Run flat insert put on the rim

The rims that were mounted on the G, have the black paint/coating gone pretty vague (it's more grey now).
I'll visit a rim specialist about the refurbishment.

The weight of one rim is 10,5kg.
The weight of the run-flat insert is 15,5kg.
Complete rim + run flat + tire will weight approx 30kg's.

I would have liked them wider too, but I consider this a piece of G history.
With a set of 7.50R16 tires, it will look okay on my old G.

For off-road purposes, I got two sets of widened steel rims 16" with M/T's.

I am looking to get a set of steel wheels (steelies) for a 463. What are my options out there? Anyone with a photo of a 463 with steelies?

Thanks

You can run a 235/85/16 tire on these. It is a decent and standard G tire size, but maybe not the best for soft deep sand.
