How to get your bearings and seals directly and locally.

Any post where the initial author's intention is share information pertaining to parts specific to the G-klasse. This includes information about the parts needed for a certain repair job, or how to find the parts (different suppliers, etc).

MBZ seals are the only thing that works for those...

Same deal with the Bosch motor for the HVAC fan. Mercedes wants huge money for the fan replacement because it has that unique to G fan blade but the motor can be sourced for under $100 and chances are your blade won't be damaged.
Wiper motors front and rear can be found also.

I thought Corteco made the MB seals.

I have these numbers:

In the US I have not found any local Corteco suppliers

Numbers are different Todd, LOL. Maybe your one eye is seeing double? Thank you for the tip though - I'll try them. Looks like 800-334-1711 is the number.

FYI, they do not stock Corteco seals, but do have some (not all) compatible sizes and lip-styles.
