Mark,

I have sent an email to the folks at FRANK. They seem to handle mostly bolts and finely machined products.

I got a fast reply :(
Dear Mr. Gilmartin,

unfortunately we have to deny your inquiery.

We are a supplier for screws and fasteners.

Maybe someone put these " boots" into one of our bags once.

Have good luck on your quest and a merry christmas!

Regards.

Crap! I was hopeful that these folks might have a stash of these somewhere.

The package that you sent to me, Mark, seemed original. I will dig it out of my spare parts cabinet for a closer inspection.

Back to the drawing board!

Tom

If those boots are currently installed could you possibly look to see you can read the part number on the boot?
Think of it as a kind of Yoga exercise twisting your way in there to look. :D

Gentlemen,

Here is a link to a Unimog parts supplier in Germany who has these boots in several sizes.

http://nfzk.wdre.de/advanced_search_res ... +&x=7&y=10

If that fails to work, do a search (lower left column) for Lenkstangenköpfe.

Hope this is helpful,
Richard
