you mounted them into your headlight frame or does it come as a set ?

mfg. guido .

The Nolden's come as 2 lamps, 2 custom stainless adapter rings(specific for G), stainless hardware, white headlight "bucket" clips(which I didn't need to use).

This is the Nolden bi-LED, along with their custom stainless adapter ring for G-Wagen, once I mounted it into my factory plastic headlight "bucket;"

Does that make sense?

hi jeremy .

if you mounted your ZKW headlight plastic ring for leveling than you made the conversion for W463 , than it should be possible to use it for W460 with this ring .
better roll over to tony and test it , i am really excited if they fit in a W460 , as this is in my eyes the way better option as trying to chenge to xenon headlights .
they are not cheap but when they have good bright light then even me has interest in them too .

Vince,

I will take a few better pics to post in the next few days. Currently, I only have increased-distance camping pics of my G with them fitted.

i'd be willing to try the dark option on my 460.

do you know if this would cause any electrical issues on older g's or is there components on board that make it run with the same draw as a standard bulb?

They are great! I've been very very pleased with them. Amazing light output and cutoff pattern.

I'll PM you about the dark.

Less draw vs halogen so better for your W460. Now we just need to find out if the W460 headlight bucket is the same as '02+ W463...anyone know?

it is not the same .
w463 have headlight adjustment which needs space .
w460 have no headlight levelling .
the german army wolf has the correct buckets which look like this one .

mfg. guido .

Converting the buckets is not too difficult though. I have 463 HL with levelers fitted to my 460 with a write up over on GWOA

http://www.gwoa.co.uk/forum/howto-upgra ... t-fittings

Main issue (as always) is to make sure you measure twice and cut (carefully) once!

The HLs look great though - I may have to buy a set
