Front bumper-mounted auxiliary lights - W460's

What lights are you guys running on the front bumpers of your W460's?

Looks like they might have come with Hella 160's, right? Not available in the US, unfortunately.

What other options are out there from Hella that will fit? I see the various light models on the Hella site, but not certain which are a good fit.

It looks like the lights can't be too deep, as there is not a whole lot of room behind them once they are installed on the front bumper.

Mine are 500's. Or at least that's what the covers say...

Hella 500's are most common and have a decent size/look which fits with the overall front-end design. They are also cheap, throw out a lot of acceptable light and are cheap and easy to install.

I decided to go more subtle this time around and I love these for filling in the closer and side dead-spots that headlights miss. These are also good for fog when needed due to a very clean beam cut-off in the vertical.

If you are into high-speed driving on long or desert roads where you don't see oncoming traffic I'd go for a pencil beam more like the 500's or better from Hella or Piaa, or maybe a Rigid LED. Most other light brands are junk/Chinese.

If money is no object, go for a set of Hella Rallye 4000 Compact LED

I like your winch and lights, a very clean installation.

Don't install 4000 hella unless you are really into off-roading since these are huge and unattractive to drive around in everyday

Thanks. And I listed 4000 compacts, which are 6" diameter.

These are Hella 450
i had large round ones before and I hardly used them since they were spot light only for off road use.
But these ones are different. I used very often on road especially in bad weather. Very wide angle allows me to notice everything next to road which is helpful to avoid big games. Does not really bother up coming traffic. They are sold as fog light not spot light so not designed for off road use.
Enjoy your G

These rectangular fog lights are what every daily driven 460 should have. Driving through fog, snow or rain at night can be dangerous without them. They just scream "461 professional" though the pro versions are a tad larger I believe.

I had Hella 500 "Black Magic" lights on my G.

I have just changed over to some 42W LED spot-beam lights. These are obviously not as powerful as HID's or the top-end LED's but complement my 60W LED spread-beam light bars on the roof rack (which completely drowned out the Hella's)

Not great for fog, but I live in Queensland! I have more than enough light now.

On the bumper I have amber LED indicators, they are not reflectors.
