My 617A has one idiot light sensor that faces toward the front, off the filter housing. I dont have anything under my turbo oil-tube like that pic shows. Maybe I could just use the one Fernando used in place of it?
Off-road with the sound of a Mercedes diesel motor, the security of full lockers and a super-duty chassis.... that's why.

Hi I also used the dual sensor from VDO on my OM 602 with a T connection to have the idiot light - oil pressure value and temperature. If I remember well the idiot light value on standard sensors is 0.8 bars and the VDO is 0.5 bar .... Or vice versa check the data sheet of the sensor

This VDO Oil Pressure sensor with warn light doesn't need any adapter on OM617. Wich the sensors recommended in this thread does I think? Since they are M10x1.0.

Oil Pressure Sensor 0-5 bar / 0-80 psi M12x1.5 thread with warn light
