I know its a very simple thing , anyway, the pre filter must be almost in vertical position. It became full when you use manual pump? Bubbles are ok , but not to much and not increasing? Now the idiot question : isnt fuel line connected at return tank place? Belive it or not one day i did that......may be to much wine.

I would also go ahead and pull the sensor out of the tank clean up
