Discretely pay some local teens to jump around on your hood. That should do it.

Don't forget to add another $100 or so for the second hood strut and fittings.
Those walk-ons are f'in heavy.

I have this hood on both my G500 and also my G300 SWB and it does fine with only one strut. The hood is heavy, but the original is heavy as well.

I have reinstalled the hood support straps to make the hood that much stronger and more rigid. The glue cracked and the layers separated on my G500 after using it for a couple of years and walking on it occasionally. It required regluing with super glue and epoxy. This one was supported with the straps at the time of installation.

Could someone please explain what are the Off-road World mods to the Mercedes walk on hood?

Also, I know Line-X can do color matching {solid colors} on the center of the hood. But,can they do a decent job matching the metallic colors? Would it be best to paint over the coating instead?

The outer skin is made stiffer by adding an inner skin.
The raw surface serves as non-skid / anti-slip surface
I saw an equivalent in Carbon from Schmude holding 130 kg although 100 kg are rated.
