Door latch lube ??

Hi gang - my door latches are not catching as smoothly as they should. WD-40 does the trick, but its too thin and wears away after a week. What's the best grease or applicant to lube up the latches on the inside that lasts a long time despite cold or warm weather? Some kind of lithium grease, maybe?

I've been using lithium grease - seems to work well. applied it over a year ago and haven't had to think about it since. - used it on hinges and on the catch mechanisms

Both Loctite and 3M sell silicone paste that is equally as effective as the Mercedes stuff and it is way less expensive.

YMMV

Dont forget the hinges too.

Mine seem to latch easier (smoother) after I cleaned and lubed the hinges.

Great. Thanks everyone for the options - the MB stuff I'm sure is great but pretty pricey. Think i'll aim for the lithium grease or Corrosion X.
