In the interest of always trying to keep my 280GE running at no
more than mid range temperature, I was intrigued by this
product but know nothing about its benefits......if any.
Would like to know if other 'G' owners found it to help the engine
run cooler during heat stress driving conditions?

I use it. I want to have the maximum possible cooling capability in the summer and it is supposed to give an edge. It doesn't cost that much and if there is even a small benefit it is worth it for me. Their other products are outstanding. This one is hard to do a comparison with without some scientific protocol and I really don't have time for that.

I assume the 12 oz bottle should be used in its entirety
and will give it a try since there doesn't seem to be
a 'damaging' down side to using it.

In my experience with the 280GE..
I see ZERO change in temps... Nada, Zip-O, Nothing..
But as you say, "It probably won't hurt"...

I've got some friends who run this stuff in their stock cars and have been told that it only really works if you are running straight water and is not noticeable if added to antifreeze. They did say that it has helped with warping of the heads due to reducing hot spots around the cylinder heads also ( their theory as less head gasket problems using it).

300GD. Rebuilt my radiator with 3 cores. New hoses. Used Water Wetter and noticed a drop in coolant temperatures. Not all that significant, but running in Los Angeles with summer temperatures that can hit 117F, anything helps.

In snowmobile racing we used it with good success.
There was a college kid around the shop with a pontiac sunfire that was continuously running on the hot side. Dumped a bottle of that stuff in and we were amazed how well it worked. I saw it with my own eyes. We purposely ran the card as hard as we could and it would not get to the same temperature as it was before just running normal. I am a believer.
Speaking to an engineer from GM he said that the stuff will work and is effective, but really only on a new car with new internal parts. As soon as the radiator and engine block, etc has been run and gets a little crud inside what ever chemical that is in that magic potion won't work nearly as well. In the snowmobiles we had all new parts and did see good success. In the old Pontiac, we also saw very good success contrary to what the GM guy said. SO! Those are my experiences. I think it would be worth the $12 and won't hurt anything. It does NOT change the color of green antifreeze
