Remove a window sticker, add new wheels.... for $6500 more? Wonder if there's something wrong, or if they just found out it's not legal in CA?

Yeah, what’s with this “Puch” slam?
I began to rebadge mine as Mercedes, but went back to Puch as it’s a badge of honor to its Swiss army history.

Rather labeled Puch than Brabus, but then mine gets dirty occasionally.

I think Puch is generally regarded as cheaper and less prestigious - in Europe. Not everywhere, but certainly Central Europe and farther east. Puch was never a luxury marquee as Mercedes branded itself. Various bicycles and mopeds only do so much for brand value. Utilitarian cool maybe, luxury status symbol - no.

I live in Central Europe and I bought a Puch because back in the 90s and early 00s owning a Mercedes G usually meant that You belong to organised crime. The cars are 99,99% the same, only differences being the VIN (from 1981) starting with VAG instead of WDB and having 79 or X9 control digits instead of just 7 or X and the badges. In fact the Puch company is quite popular for example in Austria and it´s not so uncommon that people change badges also on newer luxury Gs from MB to Puch.
