I would think that they had a long pipe connector to attach to the snorkel however I don't see and air cleaner anywhere. Maybe its in the fender.

Isn´t the air intake vent on a 350GD Turbodiesel on the left side? :)

Now I am checking the additional pictures and the air filter is completelly missing???

Gotta admit I didn't look at the extra photos.

If there is an air filter hiding in the fender that would be quite a feat of engineering. There is also supposed to be a large oil cooler in there and the coolant overflow. It is the same setup that I have and there is about enough room left to fit a coffee cup.

BTW: The oil cooler is now NLA. They can be refurbished with new fittings though.

Is there a transmission oil cooler necessary for a manual transmission G?Just curious

Photos of what the fender area looks like inside. That area at the back is quite narrow. The weird air duct is mostly full of the engine oil cooler fan and bracketry.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the 16" closed tear Ashtaroths but the rest of it is so random.

;) Snorkel is nice too but I doubt its plumbed correctly.
