VIN: WDB46033217050891

But to save you time it has already been pulled and is on page 38 of VIN thread!

Thanks @mogwild

Did I miss a VIN thread somewhere? Assuming this is a no-A/C vehicle?
Can anyone verify that, to be importable to the US, it MUST have the original engine? I think I recall reading that on another vehicle post.
Thanks all

Yes, but they were blurry - out of focus or low resolution

When I came through the US border with the 1988 300GD I bought in Calgary they didn't even look.
I think it just has to be the same model engine - OM617 N/A in this case - if they were to fuss about it.

The thread is a sticky in the tech section.

I see this VIN posted on page 41 viewtopic.php?t=9049&start=400

I’ve never imported but my understanding is that the motor needs to be one that was originally available with the model you are importing. This truck originally came with a 617na so a replacement 617na is fine, but a 606a would be problematic (hope someone corrects this if it’s wrong)

This vehicle is definitely equipped with the original engine type. If someone is able to verify if it is actually the original engine via the stamping on the engine I am happy to send pictures of those. Also, the pictures of the interior in this thread are of the same quality to the ones sent to goat. He was not using imessage so possibly poor quality due to the iphone to android? Happy to send to anyone that wants more. Text is best as they are all saved on my phone

As stated by goat. I would be willing to let this go for $20,000 CAD if we do a quick deal. Have another buyer at $19,000 CAD but that leaves me in really rough shape
