It brings up so many questions for me. The diesel is by far the best attribute. But 18k for a car that looks like could have been stolen at some point, is super odd.

i'd buy it if i didn't live in CA. Love the OM612 and this looks like a fairly solid low mileage truck ... not a lot of rust visible in the pictures either. If it runs, the seller is really doing himself a disservice presenting the truck this way instead of cleaning it up and fixing the headliner at least.

It sounds like it's already titled in the US so it shouldn't be as big of a hassle to register in the less stringent states. I'm guessing it'll get to at least $25K-$30K, which is not bad considering what some of these run of the mill Europa G500s are selling for.

What I'd like to learn more about is "Government Surplus?" Who,What and Where? Also, what's with the air ride seats in the back?

I wouldn't assume there is anything legal about it's current registration, if it's registered at all.

If it has a clear title.... with a matching vin, I don’t know what else one needs. It’s a bit beat up which is a shame.

Looks like a something you would pickup at an auction resulting from confiscation of drugs, alcohol or firearms. Headliner and interior almost look like someone was looking for something. It might have had an exciting life.

Seller claims it was inspected at Delaware DMV and assigned a vin. Clean title in hand. There you go.
