JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) have the steering on the right, but there is a prestige in Japan to owning and driving a LHD vehicle, they are desirable and command a premium, espessially Mercedes.
We've had a flood of JDM vehicles in Canada (due to the 15yr rule, vs 25 or the US) and on any given day I see a ton of WRX, subaru mini trucks, evo's, 80' series yota's (with wicked graphics packages) and Supra's, RX7's, they sell cheap (compared to the LHD versoins) but insurance for young drivers can be quite high.
There are a ton of Brabus and AMG editions in Japan, and twice as many tributes and clones.
