Stainless Steel braided Teflon brake lines 460

Ordered up the stainless steel braided teflon brake lines from Paragon Performance and slapped em on. The service is great and the fit is sweet. Well worth the time and money.

oiiio,
Here's the original posting. Scroll down to about the middle to find the part numbers and contact info for Paragon. When you talk to Gerry, just tell him it's the 5 line kit for a early G. He'll know.
Good luck.

Notice some firmer brake feel? I installed SS lines on PK's TD and man what a difference. Rock hard pedal and taught brake feel.
Thanks for the links Mr. Smith.

Yes, the brakes feel like new.
I had seen the link a long time ago then Harald was kind enough to remind everyone somewhat recently over on P3. Thanks again Harald.

Whenever I have to work under the truck, I like to roll it over on it's side for easier access. Here's a pic of the rear line. ;)

I'm with you there, much easier to work on with the truck on its side rather than lying underneath looking up watching pesky dirt drop into the face.
Great line kit.
Boffo installation job.
Stopping is good.

Thanks Steve.

So which kit did you get--extra kevlar sleeve(D) or not(-3)?

"Brake Lines
Paragon Performance (800) 270-0333

One of the few vendors to actually give me part numbers for easier ordering. While the lines are the same between models, the newer 463 ones need two less up front. If you want them stock length it is 20" front and 18" rear. Also, the same fittings are used on the locker lines so if you want to replace those just check on length (round up) and if the fittings are male or female.

For 460/461 Lifted
GWAG KIT D
5 brake lines, DOT (extra Kevlar sleeve)
Four 23" front lines - double female with clip groove, 10mm 1.0 x 10mm female
One 21" rear line - male/female. Male is 10mm x 1.0 short male cone. Female is 10mm x 1.0.

GWAG KIT-3
As above, 5 brake lines, non-DOT"

PPB-GWAGKITD
Mercedes G Wagon D.O.T. 5 Line Kit
I decided on clear sleeve. I think you can do black if you want.
$134.09

Just call and ask for Gerry.
