AC compressor for tire inflation

I think you can use the AC compressor for tire inflation. I do not use the AC and figured if I was going to leave it in it would be a good way to reinflate after wheeling. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks Kent

Always thought about it as well, oddly enough my 85 Turbo intercooled 5 speed Volvo 240 wagon has a York AC compressor that looks identical to the ones used in the above threads, in case you were looking for sourcing potentials

Veggie - Also check out the G-Tech link at the top of the page in this forum. In the upgrades section is a great article on this subject. No place like home!!
