Thanks for getting back with the info. I appreciate it. I tried out some circa:1985 BMW Recaros in my 460 and too found the reclined angle of the seat bottom and the high side bolsters were not great in and out access. I see some like yours listed on Ebay.DE which have the G fabric and some that are all green or "Wolf" seats.

Again, nice job.

Those look really good! Anyone ever looked at Scheelmann seats? I saw them a few years back for Defenders and always drooled. Now I see GFG shop is selling them in MB fabrics. It's exactly what I wanted to do for mine.

Scheelmann seats are top of the line product. Same or better quality than recaros.

Hi there are different makers around - it all depends what are the needs of every and each individual. In my opinion I always associate Recaros to Audi and VW, Scheelman to Land Rover and for Mercedes either Koenig or Eku... I wouldn't put any Recaros from BMW or VW, I rather look at those special series.... still not every seat is good for everyone therefore criteria's need to be set up.... BTW original Wolf seats are a pain as the frame presses uncomfortably in the kidneys... at least in my case

I installed one Recaro specialist m seat a few months ago in my lwb kasten. The seat bottom has an extra adjustment, but other than that I think they are identical. Not 100% sure though. This seat is AWESOME. I only have one at the moment because I wasn't sure if I was going to like it and they aren't exactly cheap.

From my digging it appears the M is meant for the tall folks of the world hence the thigh extension if you would in the front. Found a guy who has these in the Gray check pattern that I need for mine. Don't think I can pass that up. Are you stoked on the fit and feel though? anything you wish it had?

I'm 6'2" and the fit is excellent! I wish it had heat and ac but I'm not willing to spend the money for those options. I like the fact that it's very basic, manual adjustment controls, and the lumbar support adjustment is simply a foam pad you can install or remove depending on your preference. Thumbs up!
