I just designed my drawer setup with a local wood craftsman and it turned out pretty awesome. Drawer for fridge, storage for 7 gallon potable water, 2 burner stove, storage for pots/pans/coffee french press, chopping board, and silverware, two storage boxes on the side above the wheel wells, flat surface area with l-track rails for d ring attachment to secure load on top of the drawer, and can also turn into a bed for 1-2 people.

That looks great! Thanks for sharing. Always good to see others layouts for camping.

If you need help...I usually have extra zip ties and duct tape.

Wow that looks amazing !!! I did a similar set up but not looking as nice as that.

Did you save the dimensions to a drawing by chance?

I might consider rejigging mine to suit.

I thought I’d share a drawer system I built for the back of my G. The carcass is made from 1/2” ply and bolted to the passenger side wheel well with the original tie down points.
The face frame was scribed to the exact shape of the rear and fit with inset drawers. The drawers are dovetailed hard maple and the slides are Accuride 32” 600lb lock in/ lock out. The top is solid cherry milled to just under 3/4”. I also recessed some L track into the top so I can easily secure cases. Overall it weighs 260lbs, I’d say 60lbs of that are the drawer slides.
