Tom (Schuhe),
You're usually the first to get the damn thing. So, has it shown up yet?

Anybody?

Hi Steve,

What a hoot!

No!...And, I have been camped out at my mail box waiting, waiting, waiting, just so I can run back to the house and on to my computer...to tell everyone that "I've got my Overland Journal...".

But, not yet!! Dang!

Anyone else?

Tom

While waiting for the Oberland Journal, take a look at this item.

Tom

That's a promo shot of the G-wagen home delivery program that Mercedes considered during the truckers strike.

That's is correct, Mark.

It looks to me as though one of those Gwagens might be a topless Landrover. Could that be, or is this like a projective test...and I am seeing my underlying vehicle lust (interst) coming to the surface? Guess I will have to take to the couch for some self-analysis. Oh, and I do need to confess that my brother is taking me next month to his British Car Club meeting. I ask him if the members of his club all sit in a circle and say things like, "Hi, I am Tom, and I am a Mercedes owner." He said, "...well kind of...mostly they talk about the last time they had parts for their cars and actually drove them, and what the day will be like when they actually will be able to drive them AGAIN."

OK, the original question: Are any of these flying (being delivered) G's actually Landrovers?? I need help here from someone who has better vision and insight into my own troubling and shifting manifestations of Latent Landrover Lust Syndrome (LLLS - series (type) 1 or 2 only!!).

I guess you are referring to the top 3. They do appear different than the lower 3. G's are heavier of course.

Yes, these seem different in subtle ways. Good work, Mark.
