The 722.6 transmission came without dipstick. The shop dipstick is built to attach to a stiff shaft that is a pain to carry on a trip. It looks like the important part (the end) could be quickly duplicated on a 3D printer. If the top end had a hole in it then one could tie it to a long piece of piano wire making for a very compact travel tool. I guess the plastic has to withstand >80C, maybe ~100C?
Anyone game?
