Dobinson products

Has anyone used their springs or shocks before?

Back when I had an FJ40 these guys were as popular as old man emu. I read a thread way back when on pointed three about these guys but it was a while ago. I tried getting pricing on their suspension lift, etc. but their phone # isn't working. Just looking for other options.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm running a Dobinson 2.5" spring/shock combo on my Lexus GX470. I'm very happy with the quality of their products so far. No experience in a G Wagen chassis but I have about 10k miles on it and it's been wonderful.

I have dobinson suspension shocks and springs in multiple gwagens and land cruisers. Great product so far.

I briefly had rear dobinson reservoir shocks, they did not survive their first outing to Johnson valley CA, top mounting eye immediately ripped off of both, upon removal I noticed these mounting points were much weaker design when compared to stock Sachs G shocks.

Wondering if anybody has the correct model numbers for a dobinsons lift. I have a 2003 G55
that I bought the lift for. The first pair of front coils were C41-062 and were 8” wide and obviously wouldn’t fit (stock spring width was 5.5” wide)

The second set they gave me was model number C41-042 And when comparing the stock springs side by side they were the correct width but were 3 to 4 inches shorter so I did not install.

I am not 100% convinced these are correct springs

Any help would be appreciated

The Dobinson website is confusing. I have contacted them several times via FB messenger and e-mail - they were very responsive.
