What Other Mercedes Models Use Same Engine Block as 230G?

In conjunction with my last post... looking for tune-up parts, I am hoping to be able to find out what more common models (but less interesting! ;)) use the same inline 4 cylinder engine as the 230G. If you know of any specifically, please let me know.

Thank you!

I assume that this is not the 230E, but the 230. The W115 was the sedan body that used the later four cylinder 230 engine. It has a single Stronberg side draft carb. The 230E was injected.

The years were in the 1970-73 range. I owned a 1972 or 73, and it was a great workhorse.

I think there were W123 sedans that also used the 230 and 230E engines. I suspect they were only in Europe, however. I have only seen one or two in the US, and they were gray market vehicles.

Good luck,

Tom
