One more random thought, I'm really enjoying the gear reduction.

That front view looks so menacing. All the function of a 4x4^2 without all the unnecessary bling. 37's will will really complete the look.

What are your plans for additional lights?

I hadn't planned any. Can't think of how to do them without ruining the look, although I liked your idea of swapping the rears out. I could put some fog lights in the bumper maybe, but don't want a big light bar or lights on top of the bumper. If I could think of a way to hide them I'd be up for more side or close to the front lights though.

I see what you mean. Your truck is so clean on top and without a brush guard that adding lights on the roof or the top of the bumper will just make it busy.

There is probably a way to retrofit the Quadratec stealth light bar for Jeeps into the G. I looked at this but know it'll be a lot of custom work. I may look into this when night time trail riding is something I get to do, but aux lights are probably the last thing on my list of things to do at the moment.

Love your updates! Gives me lots of build/design goals for the future.

That window module I was enjoying so much died today. That didn’t last long. Hopefully there is no issue with getting a warranty replacement.

Got 4 of the 5 Tibus beadlock wheels I ordered today. Not sure what the story is there but I emailed GFG to find out. Those are some serious work to install, unlike the Hutchinson's they don't have 3 studs that are longer to help get the bead starting to come together. This means without some means of squeezing the two sides together you are going to have a hard time patching or swapping a wheel in the field. If I had to I think I would end up having to lay the wheel under my truck, then place a jack on top of it to press the top down onto the studs.

Overall though, I'm very happy with the assembly process, they just really should have put the 3 longer studs in. I'll probably try to pickup a few clamps to stick through the holes in the wheel and help pull the face close enough to start threading the nuts onto the studs.

Only had energy in me to do one tonight, but over the next few days I'll get the rest of them together.

Did GfG respond to your email?
I have found them to be great at selling and shipping stuff. Resolving issues with their products, not so much.

They did, they said they were short one sealing o-ring for my 5th wheel and would send it out in a week. I got the rest of my tires installed on the wheels at lunch today and am going to put them on the truck in a few hours. Excited to see the final stance.
