Having just done another one of these I can recommend removing the resonators under the door sills altogether. Keep the transverse factory style muffler where it is and the rest is just straight pipe. This gives a very mild burble to the exhaust note without waking up the neighbors in the next county. Gwagenaccessories.com has a clean resonator delete kit.

Have any pics? I’m not quite understanding the recommendation.

Installed a comeup winch, plus a fairlead and flip up license plate cover. Haven't gotten around to wiring it yet but my current plan is to try to hide it in the passenger side of the bumper.

It rubs/presses into one grill bar in two spots but I can live with that.

I'll need to replace a couple of cables with longer and heavier gauge cables, but once done something along these lines should work

Really like the steel bumper. The slots in the front skid plate are a nice cooling idea but I am concerned about the loss of integrity if you hit something. Those dimples in the skid plate provide a lot of rigidity. Is that the way the factory is doing them now?
Also be aware when 4-wheeling, when you go through muddy areas and streams after the trip you will need to remove the skid plate to clean the coolers as they will be caked in mud and totally inefficient. The last 2 trips my coolers were 2 solid blocks of mud with no air flow and I don't even have the slots in the skid plate like you do.

I don't actually have my skid plates mounted yet, but you are totally right about the coolers. Luckily there isn't too much mud in Colorado, it's almost all rocks, but I actually did try to relocate the heat exchanger for the intercooler, bought the VRP secondary heat exchanger they listed as fitting my G55 but it doesn't fit so I'll need to return it. Hopefully the portals will lift it enough that getting mud in there will be a rare event.

Look like straight cut gears. I'm surprised that they don't have some gear whine.
