Miziol you can by my orange one its now for sale :D

You sure like your barndoor G's!

Is your beige one a former Dutch army 290GD? Looking at the hitch, rear bumpers, the main (mass) switch in the center console and the grey pattern seats?
If so, did you convert the body to the barndoor set up? Looks great!

lol yes i do! i had 3 but down to 2 now.
and yes you are correct on all accounts.
thank you im really very happy with it! still need to add the 4:11s but im having a hard time finding someone in NY or tristate area to install them :(

the orange one is a 1984 300GD with an OM617 that runs like a top with front and rear lockers.
she does have some body issues as most do but no rust underneath.

thanks again all for your kind words.
cheers!

That’ll turn some heads in NYC! Quite amazing, Jack.

Does Wolfgang’s refuse to setup the gears? I’ve got a couple places in Fairfield county CT that would probably do it. There is another place near New Haven that rebuilt the front end on my Europa.

Wolfgang’s of Tenafly has a lot of experience with Gwagens. Very reputable.

PM me if they balk at it and I can give you a contact who owns a very high end restoration shop here in CT. It’s just a Port Jeff ferry ride away.

Love this tan color. Did you manage to get the color code from the paint shop?
