Which G is this?

Hello everyone!

I really enjoy this forum. I found it a few weeks ago and have been reading a lot of threads already.

To make this post a bit more interesting, I won't give you all the information at once. Instead I'll post a picture and let you figure out what I actually have bought. Or is it too easy?

I'm looking forward to being a part of this community!

Samuel

Looks like a chopped tin-top to me. 230G, 230GE, 240GD, or 300GD

Thank you for your interest. Guido has it!

I have actually bought two of them, a swb 290GD pick-up from 1993 and a swb 280GE from 1983.
Both of them will need a lot of love. I think I'll sell the 280 and restore the 290. Please let me know what you think about the swb pick-ups.

And no it's not the pick-up leaking in the picture, the ground was wet.

Kind regards,
Samuel

Similar to the Brabus wheel but it looks like it is BWA

Yep I think it's the BWA's. But they don't belong to this car. It came on the wheels seen in the attached picture. Can someone tell me something about these? Random aftermarket? I think they look like wheels I saw in a thread about wheels on this forum?

Are there more (swb) pick-up owners here?

And as Guido mentioned the single cab vent, does anybody know where I can find a new one for the other side?

What is the VIN? I can look up the part number with that.

I love the looks, that's all I'd need in a truck :)
