The pictures certainly aren't in Utah.

Has anyone called on it yet? If not I will give him a call to get information but it is probably not good if a bunch of us call on the same vehicle.

Thanks.

I have not called yet. Tempted though.
History of the dealer on this sight gives me pause,
If it is in the US, and with enough positive response here, I would plan on flying
in to look at in a couple of weeks.

I think if you call it will not be available. Don't book a trip till you have seen some pictures with the beautiful Utah landscape in the back.

Good luck.

Please keep us posted.

I am working on the same engine and transmission setup now. Would be very interested to hear how it all works.

Buyer beware! This is another shit Cardealer. I was jerked around by him for a month and a half making calls at 3 or 4 in the morning during all that time for him to tell me he sold it to someone else!?!
If he knows you know about G wagons or at least a comprehensive understanding of bodywork and mechanics He will start to make excuses as to why you can’t view a vehicle.
This was almost 2 years ago, in that time I have seen two other vehicles in person in which he sold.
Both were at mechanic repair shops in need of several repairs and upon my inspection the body work was Fair to poor at best.
He’s also been caught being very miss leading in ads. In one add he said his 605a swap Kasten Wagon had 250 horse power and when asked what pump he was using he said “factory that’s the way it comes”. Needless to say he does not like the educated buyer.
In fact one of his HIGH DOLLAR trucks is STILL at the mechanic shop in Texas.

Cheers
Jack

Jack, thank you for sharing your first-hand actual experience! I was apprehensive about opening that can of worms again, but people should understand when to anticipate issues.

My experience with G Mercedes was almost the same.. Lots of discussions of cars that would be available but none that actually were at the time. He claimed many were sold before he even lists for sale and suggested I give him a large deposit for a G that he may have in the future..wonder if anyone actually does that?

Must be a hard business to make a living. Doesn't seem to be anyone that sells a decent vehicle for a fair price. Some exceptions for sure, but man there sure are some scumbags out there..

Pre-pay for a vehicle he doesn't have so he can obtain just about anything in any condition for you. Right.

The sad thing is: sometimes he really does have a decent vehicle. I just wish that was a reliable occurrence.
