Nick's G63 Gamble

Nick’s G Wagon Rescue Garage. We are rescuing these G’s from the gangsters, criminals and concrete jungles then returning them to the wild natural habitat of mud, rocks and wilderness. Like homeless dogs, these ones bite sometimes too....

Bought my dream G a Matte Silver G63 AMG, Carbon interior trim and black leather, on an auction. A little fender damage, and.... no keys. No guarantees, take it as you see it. Auction hammer dropped and I owned it.

Made its trip home from California tonight. Had a set of keys pre-made at the Mercedes Dealership. 50/50 chance if they would start the car they said, but... if the unlock works on the key, it will work. Well... battery was flat dead, ran to orielly’s and dropped a new battery in it. Checked the oil... bone dry... dumped 5 quarts in it before it showed on the dipstick. . . Hit the key... THUNK. She is locked hard.

Such is life. Onto the hunt for a G63 AMG Engine. Found one in Dubai...

Not sure about that particular motor, but in the world of early amg m113 g55, the motor from CLK55 is identical in every way to g55 motor...

Sounds like it may be a great buy.
Slava81 on eBay has a G63 that someone dropped a firebomb into in the SF area. Interior is totally roached but the motor is great. Maybe you could try to PM him via his eBay listings.
